Tori graduated from UConn in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. After working in laboratory animal care for a year, she joined the John Landers lab at UMass Medical School, working on projects pertaining to ALS and other neurodegenerative disorders. There, she became interested in the neurobiology of disease. In the Sciolino lab, Tori enjoys working on projects involving neural circuitry and the mechanisms of neuropsychiatric disease. Most of all, she enjoys mentoring the lab’s stellar undergraduates. Outside the lab, Tori enjoys spending as much time as possible with family, gardening, and taking day trips to fun places with good food.
